Accountant



As a reputable accounting firm in Bungoma, we are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. This position is open to both Pakistani and Canadian nationals who are fluent in English and have a valid biometric passport. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting and possess strong analytical skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
- Review and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Conduct monthly closing procedures
- Maintain proper documentation for auditing purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Biometric passport for international travel as needed
