Instrument Technician

A reputable manufacturing company in Akron is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, performing necessary repairs or replacements as needed
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Keep detailed records of work performed, equipment maintenance, and any issues encountered

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints
- Familiarity with various types of instrumentation including pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: Starting at $1200 per month (depending on experience)

Location: Akron (open to all nationalities)
