We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for typography and design. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and readable documents. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Check for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Ensure consistency in font, size, spacing, and alignment
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role (1+ year)
- Strong knowledge of typography, layout design, and print production processes
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1200$
