Instrument Technician



We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our growing team in Faroe-Islands. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various instruments and equipment used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain various instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and control valves.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in instruments and control systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any abnormalities or concerns.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with live electrical systems.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with PLC programming is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
