Pastry Chef - Mombasa, Egypt


We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Mombasa, Egypt. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually stunning pastries, as well as experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create new pastry recipes while keeping up with current food trends and customer preferences
- Oversee the production of all pastries, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and ordering of pastry supplies
- Train and supervise pastry assistants
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of flavor combinations and plating techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Egypt

Salary:
$1600 per month
