Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Dar Kulaib. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department, including menu development, production, and presentation. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that our pastry offerings are of the highest quality and meet the standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update pastry menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and plating.
- Ensure that all pastries are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain inventory control and order necessary supplies.
- Train and supervise pastry staff on proper techniques and procedures.
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creativity in developing new recipes and menu items.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent time management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred.

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Dar Kulaib (open to non-local candidates with valid work permit)
