Barista


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Barista to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, as well as providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to customer orders
- Ensure quality control by following recipes and guidelines
- Maintain an organized work area by cleaning and restocking supplies
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling food and beverages
- Keep track of inventory levels and place orders when necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-volume situations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations regarding food handling is preferred
- Must have own visa or be eligible to work in Fonvieille

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training or certification in coffee preparation is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This position requires standing for long periods of time, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, pushing/pulling carts up to 50 pounds. The majority of the work will take place indoors in a café setting.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
Fonvieille (Preference for local candidates but open to all nationalities)
