Mason Supervisor - Salalah, Oman


We are a construction company in Salalah, Oman seeking an experienced and skilled Mason Supervisor to join our team. As a Mason Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of masons on various construction projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of masonry techniques, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in masonry work and experience in a supervisory role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will be provided by the company. Preference will be given to Indian nationals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of masons on construction projects
- Ensure that all work is carried out according to specifications and quality standards
- Train new masons and provide guidance to improve their skills
- Monitor progress and productivity of the team
- Manage materials and equipment required for masonry work
- Ensure safety measures are followed at all times
- Communicate with project managers and other supervisors to coordinate work schedules
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Resolve any issues or conflicts within the team

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a mason, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other building materials used in masonry work
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language is an advantage)
- Good physical fitness as this job involves lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid visa for employment in Oman (own visa preferred)
- Indian nationality preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Working hours are typically 8-10 hours per day, 6 days a week. Accommodation will be provided by the company. The job may involve working in outdoor conditions and lifting heavy materials.
