Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Doha. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a full-time position that requires strong English communication skills, as well as experience in financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the Indian community in Doha. A biometric passport is required for this role. Accommodation will not be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Conduct monthly financial analysis to identify variances and discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage cash flow and budgeting processes
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport required for Indian nationals in Doha

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Doha, Qatar (Indian community preferred)
