Hotel Sales Manager (Contract) - Alta, Norway



As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel in Alta. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and online booking platforms. You will also be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and creating effective marketing strategies to attract potential customers.

To excel in this role, you must have previous experience in hotel sales and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry. A biometric passport is required as you may be required to travel for business purposes. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations
- Monitor industry trends and competition to stay ahead of the market
- Create compelling promotional materials to attract potential customers
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or relevant field
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of the local market trends and key players in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel when necessary with a valid biometric passport
