Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Abu Dhabi)
A renowned restaurant in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a strong background in Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage a team while consistently delivering high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and inventory management
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards
- Create new dishes and update menu based on seasonal availability of ingredients
- Oversee food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Monitor food costs and budget to achieve financial objectives
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques in cooking
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and spices used in Indian cuisine
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or relevant field is preferred
- Must be able to work full-time with visa sponsorship provided
