We are a thriving retail store located in Nakuru, seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurate transactions, and maintaining an organized and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and assist them with their purchases
- Accurately process transactions using cash registers and electronic scanners
- Verify items and prices to ensure accuracy
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies
- Maintain knowledge of current sales promotions and effectively communicate them to customers
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely and efficient manner
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
- Follow proper cash handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English (Swahili is a plus)

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Nakuru
