Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Multan. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for leading our pastry department, creating and developing new recipes, and managing the production of all pastry items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing pastries
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience in menu development and costing
- Team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry team in creating high-quality desserts and pastries for our restaurant
- Develop new recipes and constantly improve existing ones to keep up with current trends
- Oversee the production of all pastry items, ensuring consistency and quality control
- Manage inventory of all pastry ingredients and supplies, placing orders when necessary
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, ensuring their growth and development within the team
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate dessert offerings for events or special menus
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen area at all times
