Contract Tutor in Oslo, Norway


We are in need of a dedicated and experienced Tutor to join our team in Oslo, Norway. As a Contract Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students of various ages and academic levels. Your main goal is to help students improve their understanding and performance in specific subjects or areas of study.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop personalized lesson plans and teaching strategies based on the individual needs of each student
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas where students need extra support
- Provide engaging and interactive tutoring sessions that promote learning and critical thinking
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate regularly with students' parents or guardians to provide updates on their academic progress
- Collaborate with other tutors and teachers to share resources and best practices
- Prepare students for exams and quizzes, providing test-taking strategies and study techniques
- Maintain organized records of student attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- Previous experience as a tutor or teacher in a relevant subject area
- Strong knowledge of teaching methods and learning styles
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others effectively
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
- Valid work permit/visa for Norway
