Plasterer - Skilled Tradesperson in Dickirch


We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team in Dickirch. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying and finishing plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Plasterer, be physically fit and able to perform manual labor, and possess a strong understanding of different types of plaster and their applications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by removing old plaster, filling any holes or cracks, and ensuring proper adhesion.
- Mix and apply different types of plaster according to project specifications.
- Use hand tools such as trowels, floats, and brushes to smooth out plaster and create desired textures.
- Repair damaged or uneven surfaces by applying additional coats of plaster.
- Install corner beads around windows and doors for added support.
- Ensure all work is completed within required timeframes and meets quality standards.
- Clean up work area after job completion.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Knowledge of different types of plaster and their applications.
- Ability to read blueprints is an asset.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be required depending on project deadlines.
