Sous Chef (Copenhagen)
As a Sous Chef at our high-end restaurant in Copenhagen, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. We are seeking a highly skilled and creative chef who is passionate about cooking and has the ability to lead a team of talented individuals. You will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and seasonal specials
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service and timely delivery of dishes
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and meet quality standards
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent knowledge of ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month, based on experience.
