Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in the bustling city of Copenhagen. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing a dynamic menu that showcases our unique concept and high-quality ingredients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and a passion for creating dishes that not only taste amazing but also visually stunning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a creative and diverse menu that reflects our brand and keeps up with food trends
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including sourcing ingredients, creating recipes, and managing kitchen staff
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety are consistently met
- Manage inventory levels and control costs to meet budget targets
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of excellence
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations
- Creativity and passion for creating unique dishes that showcase local ingredients
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for inventory management purposes
- Fluent in English (Danish is a plus)
Salary: 1500$ per week (negotiable based on experience)
