Pastry Chef
A renowned hotel in Jerusalem is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for pastry making and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare desserts, pastries, and other baked goods according to our menu
- Develop new recipes and innovate on existing ones
- Ensure high quality and presentation of all pastry items
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise pastry assistants and other kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section of the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders at once
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate others
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or relevant field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting
- Fluent English communication skills preferred, but not required
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
