Instrument Technician vacancy in Nakuru Kenya

Instrument Technician (Malayalee/Filipino)
We are in need of an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Nakuru. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used for measuring and controlling production processes in a manufacturing setting. This role requires hands-on experience with instrumentation systems and the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation equipment such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and recorders
- Perform preventive maintenance on instruments to ensure their proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
- Keep accurate records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize production processes

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing setting
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to read technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: 1600$
Location: Nakuru (Malayalee/Filipino preferred)
