Location: Nakuru, Kenya
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable)



We are currently hiring a skilled Foundryman to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for casting metal objects using various foundry techniques and equipment. Your duties will include creating molds, melting and pouring metal, and finishing castings to meet quality standards.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a foundry or similar environment
- Knowledge of foundry techniques and equipment including furnaces, sand molds, and casting tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a hot and noisy environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols

Responsibilities:
- Create molds according to technical drawings and specifications
- Melt metal in furnaces at specified temperatures
- Pour molten metal into molds using ladles or automated pouring systems
- Remove finished castings from molds and finish them by grinding, chipping or sanding as needed
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
