Tiler for Residential and Commercial Projects in Kaunas
We are a reputable construction company based in Kaunas, seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various residential and commercial projects. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1300$, free visa and ticket provided.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Tiler
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of different tiling materials and techniques
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy tiles
- Valid work permit for Kaunas (preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles according to specifications using tools such as tile cutters or saws
- Prepare surfaces by leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesive
- Install tiles in desired pattern using spacers or other tools as needed
- Fill in gaps between tiles with grout, remove excess grout with sponges or other tools
- Repair or replace damaged or broken tiles as needed
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and regulations
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tile cutting and placement
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating measurements
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good time management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification in tiling or related field preferred.
Location:
This position is based in Kaunas. However, we welcome applicants from all nationalities with valid work permits.
