Fitter in Los Angeles

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical systems and equipment. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring all components are properly aligned and functioning. You will work closely with other team members and follow safety protocols to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience as a fitter or in a related field is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates of all nationalities who have a valid work permit for the United States.

Salary: $900 per week

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid work permit for the United States (for candidates of non-US nationality)

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications
- Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems such as pipes, pumps, valves, etc.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and fit components
- Ensure proper alignment of all components
- Test functionality of systems and make necessary adjustments
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on projects
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines
