Junior Librarian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Librarian to join our team in Gujrat. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist with the management of our library's collection and provide excellent customer service to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the selection, acquisition, and cataloguing of library materials
- Maintaining the organization and arrangement of library materials
- Assisting with circulation services including check-in, check-out, and renewal of materials
- Providing reference and research assistance to library patrons
- Developing and conducting library programs for all ages
- Maintaining accurate records of library transactions and statistics
- Ensuring the proper handling and care of library materials

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Experience working in a library setting is desirable but not required for freshers
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with common library practices and procedures
- Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office and online databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
