Interpreter (Entry Level) in Karachi, Pakistan



We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry Level Interpreter. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for providing translation services between English and the local language in various settings, including business meetings, conferences, and social events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about language and culture and wants to gain experience in the field of interpretation.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret conversations accurately between English and the local language
- Translate written documents from English to the local language and vice versa
- Adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality in all interpretation assignments
- Research cultural norms and customs to ensure accurate communication
- Assist with administrative tasks related to interpretation assignments
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics or related field (preferred)
- Fluent in both English and the local language (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills with a strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- Strong research skills to stay updated on cultural norms and terminology
- Computer proficiency with translation software is a plus

Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Karachi, Pakistan
