Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator
- Valid Crane Operator certification
- Strong knowledge of crane operations and safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes based on project needs
- Inspect crane equipment before each use to ensure proper functioning and report any defects or malfunctions immediately
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the crane
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials using the crane according to project specifications
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication to ensure safe movement of materials
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including materials lifted, hours worked, and any incidents or accidents that occur on site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area around the crane at all times

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this part-time position. In addition, we provide free visa sponsorship and air ticket for our employees.
