QA Tester


Our growing tech company in Faroe-Islands is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating our software products to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and experience with manual and automated testing techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify, report, and track bugs in our software products
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution
- Conduct regression testing to ensure previously reported issues have been resolved
- Review user requirements and provide feedback on potential improvements or discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
- Knowledge of SQL databases and writing SQL queries is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month, along with opportunities for growth within the company.

Location:
This position is located in Faroe Islands. We are open to considering candidates from other nationalities who hold their own visa.
