Preservation Architect - Faroe Islands


We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in the beautiful and historic Faroe Islands. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring that they maintain their original beauty and structural integrity. Your duties will include conducting site surveys, researching historical architecture styles, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in architectural design and construction, with a focus on historical preservation. You should have extensive knowledge of building materials, techniques, and codes from different time periods. Excellent project management skills are also essential as you will be overseeing multiple projects at once.

As a Preservation Architect, you must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently while also collaborating with other team members. Strong communication skills are necessary as you will be working closely with clients, contractors, and government agencies.

This position does not include accommodation; therefore, we require that candidates already reside in the Faroe Islands or are willing to relocate at their own expense. A minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural preservation is required for this role.
