Long Haul Truck Driver

Our transportation company in Muharraq is seeking an experienced and reliable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid biometric passport and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers via phone or radio to provide updates on delivery status
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including logbooks, bills of lading, and delivery receipts
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and expenses

Requirements:
- Valid biometric passport
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no accidents or violations in the past 3 years
- Excellent time-management skills for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of cargo

Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position with an average workweek of 40 hours. Overtime may be required during busy periods.
