Executive Chef for High-End Restaurant in Dubai
A luxury restaurant in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and international cuisines.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop and update menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Collaborate with management to create special menus or events for holidays or special occasions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, international cuisines, and current food trends
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of food costs, budgeting, and menu pricing strategies
- Valid biometric passport (if not already residing in Dubai)
Salary: Starting salary of $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Dubai (open to candidates from all nationalities)
