Dietitian
We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to join our team in Eldoret. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing individualized nutrition counseling and education to our clients. This is a contract job with flexible hours and no English proficiency required, making it an ideal opportunity for Pakistani and African candidates.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting nutrition assessments and creating personalized meal plans based on clients' medical conditions, preferences, and goals
- Providing ongoing support and education to clients to help them achieve their health and wellness goals
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and guidelines in nutrition and incorporating them into practice
- Maintaining accurate records of client progress and communicating any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and nutrition science
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Urdu or Swahili is preferred but not required
- Valid license or certification as a Dietitian from an accredited institution
