We are seeking a talented and experienced Merchandiser to join our fashion retail company in Atlanta. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing product strategies to drive sales and profitability. You will work closely with the buying team to select and purchase merchandise, analyze sales data, and monitor inventory levels. This full-time position offers a salary of $1700 per month, along with accommodation options. As a Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the buying team to select merchandise based on market trends, customer demand, and budget
- Creating product assortments and planning inventory levels to maximize sales and minimize markdowns
- Analyzing sales data to identify top-performing products, categories, and price points
- Monitoring inventory levels and making recommendations for restocking or clearance of slow-moving items
- Communicating with vendors to negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and quality standards
- Conducting store visits to gather feedback on merchandise performance from store managers and staff
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences
- Presenting reports on sales analysis, inventory levels, and merchandising strategies to senior management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser in the fashion retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
