Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality service and food, and maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and train staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for guests
- Create and maintain budgets to ensure profitability of the restaurant
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and pricing of food and supplies
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Collaborate with chefs to create menus that meet customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Keep track of sales data and use it to make informed decisions about staffing, menu changes, etc.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations including front-of-house, back-of-house, bar service, etc.
- Proven track record of meeting financial targets through effective cost management and revenue generation strategies
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace while maintaining a positive attitude
- Good knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience with POS systems
- Fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is an advantage)
