As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our company's network and computer systems to ensure smooth operation and high security. Your role will involve monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, implementing security measures, and maintaining hardware and software systems. You will also be responsible for managing user accounts and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, experience with server administration, and excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Manage server administration tasks such as installing updates and patches
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Maintain hardware and software systems including upgrades or replacements as needed
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware, software, or network related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in network administration or similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Knowledge of security protocols such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with accommodation in Funchal. We also provide support for obtaining a biometric passport if needed.
