Seasonal Restaurant Manager in Oslo, Norway



We are excited to offer a seasonal opportunity for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in the beautiful city of Oslo, Norway. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service at our restaurant. This is a seasonal position with a salary of 1700$ per month and includes visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Train and supervise new employees, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation of food orders
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products at competitive prices

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including staffing, budgeting, inventory management, and customer service
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have valid work authorization for Norway or be eligible for visa sponsorship
