Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst in our company, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights for our clients. Your main goal will be to turn raw data into valuable information that can guide business decisions. This is a contract position based in Copenhagen, with a salary of $1600 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize various data mining techniques to extract and analyze data from multiple sources
- Identify correlations and trends within the data to provide insights and recommendations
- Develop predictive models using statistical methods to forecast future trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and understandable manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with data mining and analysis, preferably in a business setting
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g. regression, clustering)
- Knowledge of database concepts such as indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
