Moderator for Online Community (Utena, Lithuania)


We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Moderator for our rapidly growing online community in Utena, Lithuania. As the Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of the online community, including user behavior, content moderation, and community engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor user activity and enforce community guidelines to ensure a safe and positive environment for all members
- Respond to user inquiries and feedback in a timely and professional manner
- Moderate content posted by users to ensure it aligns with community standards and values
- Plan and implement engaging activities and discussions to foster a sense of community among members
- Collaborate with other moderators to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within the online community
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in online community management

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Proven experience moderating online communities or social media platforms
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling sensitive or controversial topics
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionality
- Passion for building communities and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds

Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position but we also welcome part-time applicants.
