Head Chef - Egyptian Cuisine
Our high-end restaurant in Khasab is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef with expertise in Egyptian cuisine. As the leader of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and authentic Egyptian dishes that will delight our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards, both in taste and presentation
- Manage inventory and ordering to maintain freshness and minimize waste
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef specializing in Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Egyptian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Passion for creating innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1800$ per month
