Contract Turner - Lisbon

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Turner to join our team on a contract basis in Lisbon. As a Contract Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning equipment to produce high-quality parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of turning.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines such as lathes, grinders, and drills
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment or materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turner or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different types of turning equipment and their operation
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Student status preferred but not required

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
