Facade Designer


As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing the external appearance of buildings, focusing on the aesthetic, functional, and structural aspects of the facade. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the facade design meets all safety and code requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and designs for facades using specialized software
- Collaborate with architects to ensure that the facade design aligns with the overall building design
- Work with engineers to ensure that the facade design meets all structural requirements
- Research and select appropriate materials for the facade based on budget, durability, and aesthetic considerations
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in facade design techniques
- Liaise with contractors during construction to ensure that the facade is being built according to the design plans
- Conduct site visits to inspect progress and address any issues or concerns that arise during construction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering preferred
- Proven experience in facade design, preferably in a similar role or within an architecture firm
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other specialized software used for facade design
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and structural principles
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and contractors
- Attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Location:
This position is located in Faro, a charming coastal city in southern Portugal known for its stunning beaches, vibrant culture, and historical sites. While Portuguese nationality is preferred, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are willing to relocate.

Salary:
