Executive Chef
We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As the head of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our guests. You will also play a key role in menu planning and maintaining inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Plan menus and create new dishes that align with our restaurant's concept and meet customer preferences.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment by adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
- Ability to lead a team effectively with excellent communication skills.
- Creative thinking skills with the ability to develop new menu items that appeal to customers.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
