Contract Turner in Remish



We are currently hiring a skilled Turner to join our team in Remish on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in turning and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Operate turning machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cutting and shaping of materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues that may arise during the machining process
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in reading technical documents and blueprints
- Experience operating turning machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
