Unity Developer - Contract Position in Funchal, Portugal

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Unity Developer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality games and applications using the Unity game engine. Your primary focus will be implementing game functionality and translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into functional and engaging experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new games and features using the Unity game engine
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and visual effects
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Optimize game performance for different platforms
- Troubleshoot bugs and implement solutions
- Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Unity Developer or similar role
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Strong understanding of game development principles and processes
- Experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Knowledge of other programming languages (C++, Java) is a plus
