Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company in La Condamine. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial planning support to the management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to identify areas for improvement
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with management team to develop strategic financial plans

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP standards
- Experience with tax preparation and filing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills

This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1200 per month. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
