Job Title: Quantity Surveyor


We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Malindi. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the budget and costs for construction projects. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost estimation, procurement, contract negotiation, and project management. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
- Conduct site visits to gather information on project progress and potential issues
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to secure the best prices
- Prepare contracts and review change orders
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines
- Keep accurate records of all costs associated with the project
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer software for cost estimation and project management
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: $1300 per month
