IOS Developer


We are seeking a skilled IOS Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As an IOS Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mobile applications for our clients. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month, and accommodation will not be provided. We welcome applications from both local and international candidates, but applicants must have their own valid visa to work in Funchal.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop IOS mobile applications in accordance with client requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an IOS Developer or similar role
- Proficiency in Swift programming language
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards
- Experience working with remote data via JSON
- Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience developing location-based services
- Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
