Freelance Web Designer

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and creative Freelance Web Designer to join our team in Copenhagen on a contract basis. As a web designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites for our clients. You must have a strong understanding of design principles, web development, and user experience to be successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into effective website designs
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts
- Ensure that all designs are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and optimized for various devices
- Conduct regular website maintenance and updates as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a web designer or similar role
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with knowledge of coding standards and best practices
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or other design software
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working on e-commerce websites or other complex projects
- Knowledge of SEO principles for website optimization

Salary: This is a contract position paying $1300 per project. The final salary will be based on the complexity of the project and your level of experience.

Location: This is an urgent job based in Copenhagen. However, we are open to remote candidates who are able to communicate effectively through virtual platforms.
