Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team at a high-end restaurant in Siauliai. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative dessert menus, overseeing the production of pastries and desserts, and ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
Responsibilities:
- Create unique and creative dessert menus that align with our restaurant's theme and concept.
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, providing guidance and feedback on techniques, recipes, and presentation.
- Oversee the production of all pastries and desserts in a timely manner to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality at all times.
- Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in the pastry kitchen.
- Collaborate with other chefs to create cohesive menus that offer a variety of options for our guests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our dessert offerings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dessert menus.
- Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a team.
- Excellent knowledge of various pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating delicious desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Salary: $1300 per month
