The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery to facilitate construction and earthmoving projects. This individual should have experience in operating various types of equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. They should also have excellent hand-eye coordination and be able to work in a high-stress environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Keep track of inventory and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work site
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of operating different types of heavy machinery
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Strong communication skills
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certifications in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.
Location:
The job will be located in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
Contract:
This is a contract job with the possibility for extension based on performance.
Accommodation:
