Plasterboard Worker



The city of Alta is seeking a skilled and experienced Plasterboard Worker to join our team. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard on various construction projects in the city. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full-time employment in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas of construction projects
- Install plasterboard using appropriate tools and techniques
- Repair and patch any damaged areas of plasterboard
- Apply finishing coats of plaster to achieve desired smoothness and texture
- Ensure that all work meets safety regulations and quality standards
- Communicate with contractors, foremen, and other team members to coordinate project progress

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for cutting, hanging, taping, and finishing plasterboard
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must have own transportation or reliable means of getting to job sites

Salary:

This position offers a competitive salary of $1100 per week.
