Interpreter (Part-time)


As a part-time Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing language interpretation services to clients in a variety of settings. This may include medical appointments, legal proceedings, business meetings, or social events. You will need to have excellent communication skills and fluency in at least two languages. You must also be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken communications accurately and efficiently between parties
- Maintain strict confidentiality and impartiality while interpreting
- Provide cultural context and explanations as needed
- Take detailed notes for reference during interpretation
- Adapt to a variety of settings and subject matters
- Communicate any challenges or issues that may arise during interpretation
- Manage time effectively to ensure all assignments are completed on schedule

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages (English and another language)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of cultural norms and customs
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong note-taking skills
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience as an interpreter preferred but not required

Salary:
$1400 per month (based on part-time hours)

Location:
La-Condamine, Monaco (potential for remote work)
